The shooting of the film 'Andaala Raamudu' is going to start on 17th of this month. Aarthi Agarwal is pairing up with Sunil for this film. The film is a remake of the film 'Sundara Purushan' that was released in Tamil earlier. RB Choudary, Paras Jain and NV Prasad are making this film collectively on the banner of 'Mega Super Good Films Pvt Ltd'. SA Raj Kumar is scoring music for the film and the recoding of the songs was started on 11th of this month. Laxmi Narayana, the new director is going to debut with this film.

KAD releases special edition of Anukokunda Oka Roju
KAD DVD recently released the DVD of superhit film Anukokunda Oka Roju. Speciality of the DVD is that this is the only second movie in the Telugu DVDs to release as 2-disc special edition. First film is Anand, which is also released by KAD. Anand 2-disc DVD was definitely a collectors item. Anukokunda Oka Roju falls in the same category. The film is novel and trend-setting. Dil Raju to introduce Vamsi with Prabhas's Munna
Prabhas, who recently hit the box office with his blockbuster Chatrapati, is currently working for MS Raju's Paurnami. After Paurnami, Prabhas will work on Dhil Raju's film titled Munna. Dhil Raju who introduced Sukumar with Arya, Boyapati Srinu with Bhadra will introduce Vamsi Paidipalli as director with Munna.
Vamsi is the assistant director for Prabhas's Eswar and Varsham. He was also associate director for Mass and Bhadra. He will make debut with this film. It is learnt that Dhil Raju offered Munna to Vamsi after seeing his work on the sets of Bhadra. Dhil Raju has an eye for the talent and hopefully this will add another blockbuster in the bags of Dhil Raju and Prabhas.

Susmita designs Jai Chiranjeeva T-shirts
As Jai Chiranjeeva audio is getting ready to release in the next few days (sources say it will be on 12th/14th), fans are getting really excited since the combination could work real wonders at the boxoffice. Manisharma, who never disappointed for any Chiranjeevi film, is composing music for this film. K.Vijaya Bhaskar and Trivikram combination always worked great at the boxoffice.
In the context of audio release, it is recently learnt that special designed T-shirts with Jai Chiranjeeva logo on it along with Megastar's autograph will be marketed from the day of the audio release. Susmita, Chiranjeevi's elder daughter who has a fashion degree and is the costume designer for Chiranjeevi, designed these T-shirts. They come in 3 colors - red, black and white. Marketing of these T-shirts will be handled by Swapna Dutt, daugther of Aswini Dutt. Aswini Dutt is producing this film. Earlier Swapna Dutt managed the promotion and marketing of special designed Balu pants. KAD DVD will exclusively promote these T-shirts and distribute them into the market.

Actor turns filmmaker
Actor SREEHARI turns filmmaker with Hanumanthu. "I had been wanting to make a film since long now," says Sreehari, who launched his film at Daiva Sannidhanam in Film Nagar. His mentor Dasari Narayana Rao was the cheif guest at the launch. According to sources the film is being produced by the actor’s wife SHANTI and directed by Chandra Mahesh, who has directed the hero twice before.
It is a big budget film to be produced under the banner of Sree Chalana Chitra.

Megastar's JaiChiranjeeva audio rights sold for 1.20 Crore
Audio of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Jai Chiranjeeva has been sold for an astronomical amount. Aditya Music has acquired the rights for a whopping amount of 1.20 Crore excluding the expenditure of audio function. Makers are planning to organize the audio release function in Annapoorna studios on 12th of November. Incidentally this is the highest amount offered for any audio in Telugu Cinema till date. Manisharma scores music while Aswanidutt is producing under prestigious Vijayanthi Movies Banner. The combo of Chiranjeevi, Manisharma and Aswanidutt has some mighty hits in the past. Director of the movie K Vijay Bhaskar too has some good musical albums in his kitty. Everything is set right for a first-class album. Hope the magic of Indra repeats. Aditya Music Company is planning to release six lakhs units as a part of it.

Babloo back to sets
The new shooting schedule for Babloo will begin in 3 to 4 days time. The title for this movie has not yet been finalised. It has Vishnu and Genelia in the main leads. Initially, there were rumours that this project was facing a lot of problems, but now the official sources have denied these rumors. Produced by Mallidi Sathyanarayana Reddy, the movie is being directed by Srinu Vaitla. The talkie part of the movie is almost over. Srihari is playing a vital role in this flick. Music has been composed by Mani Sharma.

Chiranjeevi asks Coca Cola to withdraw his Thums up ad
Telugu actor Chiranjeevi has requested the Coca Cola Company to withdraw the TV commercial, in which he testifies that 'Thums up' was a safe drink.
Responding to a request by 100 scientists of Andhra Pradesh, the famed actor had requested the company to withdraw the TV advertisement, “Jana Vignana Vedika” (JVV), a voluntary organisation working for developing scientific temperament among the people, claimed on Monday.
In a statement, JVV president V Lakshmana Reddy said the organisation had received a communication from Allu Aravind, noted film producer and brother-in-law of the star to this effect.
Lakshmana Reddy said Aravind had informed JVV that Chiranjeevi had urged the Coca Cola aerated drinks were banned in educational institutions in 14 states of the United States.
The governor of California and former Hollywood star Arnold Schwarznegger had also signed a legislation banning sale of aerated cool drinks in schools in his state, the scientist claimed.
Lakshmana Reddy said as Chiranjeevi, with his immense popularity could mould public opinion in favour of Thums up, the JVV had sent an appeal to him signed by 100 scientists to withdraw the commercial and he had responded positively, the statement added.

Gossip: Chiru’s Guest Lecture at Massachusetts University!
Many of the Bollywood actors and actresses are flying abroad Universities to give fabulous lectures on their personal success and Indian Films. Manisha Koirala has given an interesting lecture on the history of Nepal and her experiences in Bollywood at Harvard University. She has also screened a film ‘Escape from Taliban’ for the students over there.
Ameesha Patil has given her lecture at Tufts University as an ex-alumnus. The deans and professors who were impressed by her lecture offered her guest lectures to deliver for their students about Indian Cinema.
Amir Khan is going to Cambridge University to deliver a lecture shortly on the topic ‘Creativity in Indian Cinema’.
Now the buzz says that Chiranjeevi received a call from the prestigious Massachusetts University of Technology (MIT), USA to deliver a lecture on South Indian Cinema and its uniqueness. Indeed, opinions say that Richard Gere who visited Hyderabad recently would have recommended him to the University. However, it would be the prestigious offer to South Indian film star if this rumor turns true.

Srihari's new film 'Hanumanthu' takes off today. Produced by Srihari himself under the banner of 'Chalana Chitra', the film has his favorite Chandramahesh in the director's seat. Chandramahesh had earlier directed Srihari in 'Okkade' and 'Ayodhya Ramayya'. Vandemataram Srinivas is the music director. The film may star Sneha as the female lead opposite Srihari.
Ramesh Varma's Next Titled 'Raju'
Publicity designer-turned-director Ramesh Varma's next is titled 'Raju'. Ramesh Varma had earlier directed the Tarun - Saloni starrer 'Oka Oorilo' for Chanti Addala. Raviteja starrer 'Shock', directed by debutante Haresh, is making brisk progress. Jyotika is the leading lady of the film while Nagababu also plays an important role.
