Andala Ramudu completes 50 days

Success meet of 'Andala Ramudu' held at Hyderabad to celebrate the completion of 50 days screening. Paras Jain gleefully said that this film has succeeded more than asking. The producer said that the film was released initially with 65 prints and another 65 prints were added.

Hero Sunil's dances and Sunil and Arti combination have contributed a lot for the success of the film the producer said. This movie is made on Super good films banner and directed by Lakshmi Narayana.

Johnny Lever gets Allu Ramalingaiah award

Allu Ramalingaiah Jathiya Puraskaram for the year 2006 will be given to popular Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever. This award will be presented to Johnny Lever on behalf of Yuvakala Vahini by Pawan Kalyan. T Subbirami Reddy will attend this function as chief guest. This award was given to Manorama and Brahmanandam for the year 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Johnny Lever used to work for Hindustan Lever Limited (a Unilever company). That's where the "Lever" in his name comes from.

He was born in Andhra Pradesh, where his family originated from. After coming to Mumbai, he worked in various places and took on the name Johnny Lever. He started doing stand up comedy when he was 10.

Raghavendra Rao's next devotional film with Big B

Director K Raghavendra Rao, who became very popular across the country, with his devotional films like 'Annamayya' and 'Sri Ramadasu' is most likely to direct a film in which Amitabh Bachchan would play the lead role. The film would also be a devotional flick to be made in Hindi.

JK Bharavi, who gave script for successful films like 'Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Sri Manjunatha' is all set to prepare a perfect subject for the Hindi film. Again MM Keeravani joined hands with Raghavendra Rao to provide music for the film and the film is most likely to go to sets very soon.

'Bharati' - a thought-provoking film!

The filmmakers of 'Bharati' say that youth who nurture dreams to go abroad to earn dollars will quit the thought and join army instead after seeing this film.
RS Raju who made a children’s film Nandini is now making this movie on Samaikhya productions banner and the script has been okayed by FDC.

Producer DS Raju says the film will influence children’s thoughts with patriotic fervour.

SriVidya diagnosed with cancer

Srividhya has been hospitalized in a prominent hospital in Kerala. News is that she is ailing with the deadly form of cancer, which is in its advance stage, and she is fighting for her life. She is being given intensive medical care in the Amirtha Institute, Kochi the noted hospital owned by the lady saint Amrithanadamayi.

Srividhya abandoned the Tollywood movie a couple of years ago and had relocated to Kerala focusing on the Malayalam sitcoms that she committed. She had avoided contacts even with her close friends and had been staying indoors due to her failing health.

It was even rumored that she had been admitted to the Saibaba hospital in Bangalore. Under these circumstances, her Malayalam sitcom Amma Thampuratti was wrapped up in just 45 episodes against the planned 200 episodes due to her non-availability and failing health.

Reliable sources now reveal that she is suffering from cancer, which has reached its advance stage. She is being treated for the same and is under intensive critical medical supervision.
