We shouldn't take our internal opinion clashes outside. We have organized this big event to give sound till Delhi and all the film industries. I pray everyone to maintain dignity and control small emotions".
He added, "Slip-ups appear commonly in any event. We have to look into good and maintain happy mood. And now I say why I said that I couldn't receive the spirit of the felicitation I received this evening. I was called on to receive felicitation in legendary category. But I don't consider myself as legend. I see if I can take that for 100 years celebrations of Telugu Cinema. I'm putting the shawl, memento and Citation in 'time capsule box'. I'll take that out for 100 years celebrations of Film Industry. If the generation then calls me a legend then I accept that. Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh are my colleagues. I don't want to go away from the company of those three. We make journey all together".
Dasari responded to this saying, "The hiccup in today's event can be considered as 'Disti'"

You guys don't deserve any Legendary Status...infact not even a Celebrity status. First learn how to behave and then talk abt these awards. Even rickshaw pullers can behave more decently in a public fuction than you guys. It's a shame to watch either of the videos. One of my friends once commented about mohan babu referring to the attack on Paritala Ravindra during the shooting of one of mohan babus's movies. He said why would any one waste a bullet attacking Mohan Babu. Today I feel why should anyone waste time and words discussing about Mohan Babu.
But surely what Chiru did has put disgrace to telugu's. All these days people have been discussing about casteism/politics in the film industry and a major group is being led by Chiru himself. Chiru's speech proves that.
In my definition he is not a Legend. He might be good in some aspects of theatre but yet to prove in all aspects of acting. Dancing and fights is not everything. He miserably failed to do good roles I have to admit that. No doubt he is doing lot of social service. But it does not mean he is LEGEND in Movies. A legend would be someone like NTR, SPB, Ramoji Rao, Ram Gopal Varma (of late he has not being able to bring the charisma back) who made an impact on the national scene.
For obvious reasons none of our telugu film personalities are figured in the Festivals, since there aren't any films worth projecting to the National Scene. Can we be really proud of saying this film of Chiru is of International standard or for that matter National level. He just playing for galleries and for money. He has another 25 years to re-claim that award and claimed to be a legend. Let's hope we see something good coming out of him. Atleast we will learn from our neighbours Rajini (who made mark internationally in a different way) and Kamalhasan.
The worst part of the entire speech is about Mr. Pawan Kalyan behaviour in the audience. He needs to be reminded that Chiru has grown to this stature due to his character. If he needs to succeed then he needs to improve his public appearances. He did a similar act just before release of "Johnny" by doing a protest walk/dharna in front of DC office which was unneccesary. He should concentrate on improving his acting skills.

Telugutalli is so lucky for not giving the legendary status to Chiru, Legend must be role model to every one but should not react as a Immature person infront of public.
For this simple issue Chiru behaved like this, as far as fan following is concerned he prooved to be good, but by this in real life he prooved he too has the same emotions like pavan kalyan. for this kind emotions pavan was made bald lets hope this kind of thing do nat happen to CHIRU if he controls himself and atleast act as good person in real life
Whatever may be the reasons, both of them reacted emotionally. Atleast chiru would have controlled his emotions, ofcourse atleast whatever he said is reasonable as he was only mentioning something relevant to the function. Who doesn't know abt Mohan Babu, ask anyone who stuided in his school or college, everyone will say what an idiot he is ??
Chiru should not forget onething, It is his attitude and character in his Life which has made him reach this position in his Life. He would have not reacted so emotionally for whatever reasons it might be. But i personally feel he can be in the Legends List.
And someone was telling not to compare with NTR, he got votes etc etc. don't go by those figures, he might have got votes and crazy, but he has proven himself in his generation and chiru has himself proven in this generation. NTR is definitely a legend of old times, And chiru is a legend for this time.

Upto some extent i agree chiru should not responded there. As every one agreed he had taken it as an initiation beeing a bridge between two decades.

how ru/and my name is deepti and i am writing this from America by seeing the function climax speech and the wrong thing done in function......actually i read so many others comments also .....some said that at least u could have controlled ur emotions....when u also don't say it sir it means ur agreeing the false word on u.....so actually the wrong thing is done there already so if u say ur self too erases the complaint on u.......and i liked the one u said that there is no recognition of Telugu people ur right sir......bcoz the fault in Telugu people is the matter of jealousy and the feeling that one must have upper hand and desire of ruling someone.......its not i am pointing someone but generally i am saying......so u did good thing by telling tht and le ur feelings out as onethng is the function is spoiled and there is no much difference if u say or don't.....and so one thing i don't like is in such big functions if there is any fault y don't people have personal ness and y they bring small issues in front of every one.......as u said y don't they sit in room and solve .......as it is the program is about togetherness then where is that.........that is the thing i don't like in Telugu people.......the word togetherness lies only in word not in hearts truly.........for example in INDIAN cricket team might the team members may have clashes between them selves but outside they r one and they must be one then only they can win and if they fight in front of everyone is there any matter of togetherness?no....so if they have any they must solve inside in between them and not let tht out.if they let it out it not only degrades the team but also the country name too.....the same way if u cinema people have something must settle between u people personally but not on stage and as such u guys r showing the song of togetherness at the back screen display and in front of that only u r pointing each other which is not good sir......i am not pointing any one bcoz for each one what they do is correct.......so we shudnt bother about someone else......we shud do our duties and responsibilities correctly..bocz in life climax we have to answer ourselves and to god so one must be true to their own selves.....and shudnt make the stage of fun and happiness and stage of debate and pointing one..........what i request is pl z maintain the word of TOGETHERNESS in hearts and true way but don't leave that in word itself pl z......it not only degrades one self but the entire religion.....the function is meant for enjoyment and fun and happiness of achievement of togetherness but not for letting someones opinions on someone or faults.......and one thing i read some one saying that chirru sir reacted unnecessarily like gumadikayala donga....but u reacting is correct chiru sir....actually what mess happened is already happened and there is nothing coming back if u react or not and when mohan babu sir is directly pointing u and about ur award so u did correctly by reacting letting Telugu people know what is going on by doing like this and their recognition........as u said in other places film festivals y there is no Telugu actor portraits bcoz if they keep one big person portrait the other actors may feel that y not mine? so thats y they completely stopped ....actually if they keep one Telugu actor portrait the others must feel ok this portrait is for all Telugu actors recognition but people take in different way like y only his portrait y not mine ......so that makes the downfall of the word togetherness like that so many.........so finally chiru sir the one u have done is not wrong......we can keep silent for an horrible thing but to the matter of self respect we shudnt sir .......so that is the one u have done.....and so done feel much about it.....one thing sir we know what we r and we can have so many people pointing us but don't take them to heart sir......bcoz we know what we r and god also know more than us what we r so don't mind these thins..........but pl z tell other Telugu people not to degrade ourselves in front of other religions only for the sake of name and fame and let the whole Telugu team down....and let the functions of happiness and achievement be as it is.......one thing sir when Telugu people stop the feeling of jealous and upper hand desire then only the word and meaning of togetherness wins until then it is only till the word itself..........so u have peace and leave this stupid things and take care of ur health sir........all the best bye chirru sir.......if u wanna talk to me here is my email id can mail me....i will be so happy if u can reply me......(deepti_engg2004@yahoo.com ) i shall be waiting for ur reply.....and if spoke something wrong forgive me and be happy always.................let leave this matter here and pl z don't everybody prolong and let our selves down still more..............thanks much.......have fun......
y dis people bark like dis.i dont no y chiru behaved like a wooser.he wuold not have done like dat.he want to be more focused and he want b a god father to the industry.farely speaking he dont diserve it.actors like raviteja sreekanth venumadhav etc potraits him to be so.but it was never like dat.hee to had a darker side.the media and the fans dont concentrate on this.if balayya make a small mistake it will bcome a big fuss wat is the case with chiru then.people should recognise dat all are equal and no person is exexptional.wat makes people think dat chiru is a god.people and media should stop boosting.u should think practically.dont be in a trance and keep on praising dat chiru.he might do good fine.dont ever curse balayya did he do anything stupid no.stop cursing him he is also a normal actor.the only thing y chiru fans abuse balayya is he is da only person in telugu industry to give him a tough compitition either in politics or films.balayya has lots of respect in da industry these bleaudy fans want to spoil dat...u fans cannot do dat
