Venkatesh has affinity towards doing a film based on mythology or historical character. Since a long time there were rumours floating around that he will be doing a film on Swamy Vivekananda. It seems something concrete had worked out in this regard now.

Comedienne Mamta passes away
Veteran comedienne Mamta passed away on the 22nd of October in a private hospital in Chennai. The actress was ill for along time before she passed away in the hospital.
She made her debut in movies in Bhoomi Kosam. Only a lead actress in two films she was famously paired with Raja Babu and Allu Ramalingaiah. After a while she stuck only to character roles and meddled with dubbing a little bit. The last rites were conducted on the 23rd.
To honour her services, all the dubbing centers remained closed. The Movies Artist"s Association too expressed their condolences.Source : Oneindia (more...)
Venu Madhav's 'Premabhishekam' hit the sets
Venu Madhav is getting great response from the films he is doing. He made his entry as a solo hero in ‘Bhoo Kailas’. He was seen playing the second hero along with Ali in director S V Krishna Reddy’s ‘Hungama’.

Support is pouring in for the hero and the organization (Common Man Protection Force) from across the state. Not only are the fans pledging their support to this cause but also are donating resources.
In the inset picture are Chinna, Kiran, Venkatesh from Nandyala (Kurnool dist) who donated an ambulance to Common Man Protection Force.
