Ravi Teja’s KICK releases on May 7th

Ravi Teja and Ileana starrer KICK is currently having its shoot in Malaysia. This action adventure thriller is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Venkat on R R Movie makers banner. It is slated for May 7th release. Earlier, the movie was planned for March 27th release, but they have decided to postpone it due to ongoing polls. Ravi Teja and Ileana have paired second time for this film after Khatarnak. Audio is expected to hit the market in the first week of April. (more...)

'Magadheera' to release after elections

Ram Charan Teja and Kajal starrer Magadheera is not going to release in April as planned earlier. The movie is in the last leg of shooting. Post-production work is being done simultaneously Yet, the movie is pushed to May release as the producer Allu Aravind felt that this big-budgeted movie will have good impact at Box-office if it is released after the polling schedule completes.

Now Andhra Pradesh is gripped with election fever and all the big stars are also in the elections fray. Today the real drama is happening off the screen. So who would care for films? Hence, Magadheera is postponed to May 1st week release. (more...)

NTR’s 'MLA' to be launched in May

NTR who kick started his political tour two days ago is getting huge response from the public. His political speeches are big draw. Moreover, he gets all the publicity from media - more than other stars who are currently touring our state for their respective parties. On the other hand, NTR’s current film with V V Vinayak has been put on hold. Shooting of the movie is stalled for another 40 days. He will only join the shoot in the last week of April.

In May, another film of NTR’s will be launched. To be directed by Harish Shanker (of Shock fame), Nallamalupu Bujji is going to produce it. MLA is the title being considered for it. Senior actor Rajendra Prasad will don the role of father to NTR in this movie. (more...)

‘Raju Maharaju’ busy in editing works

Editing work is in progress for ‘Raju Maharaju’ with Sarvanand and Mohanbabu in the lead roles and Survin Chawla and Tashu Kaushik in the female leads. Bhanushankar directed the movie while Kumaraswami Pattikonda produced the flick.

Producer says, ‘To live, any humanbeing needs breath. Likewise, to establish an identity, a person needs a family of his own. We are highlighting this point in our movie.

Post-production works are in progress now and two more songs are yet to be canned. We will complete the balance work as soon as possible. We have plans to launch the audio as well as the film in April. Ramyakrishna is playing another main role, while music is by Chakri (more...)

Mahesh's 'Varudu' finally gets rolling

The long wait of app prince Mahesh Babu fans is set to end soon. The film ‘Varudu’ is finally set to hit the floors in the third week of this month.

The film will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Singanamala Ramesh. The ‘muhurt’ puja was held at the Kanakarathna Movies office the other day. With this, the film has got off to a silent start. (more...)

Kamal Haasan gets 'Eenadu' for Telugu

All set for the remake of A Wednesday in Telugu and Tamil. Kamal Haasan is producing and acting in the remake of the movie in both the languages. Kamal has also registered Eenadu as the title for the movie. The title is with Ramoji Rao’s Usha Kiron Movies but Kamal himself requested Ramoji Rao to issue the title for his film recently and he got it. The movie is to be directed by Chakri (the guy who played the role of photographer in Sagara Sangamam) and produced by Kamal Haasan along with UTV. Venkatesh is playing another important role. Charmy as ‘Manorama’, coming on 27

The bubbly Charmy’s new film 16 Days did not exactly set the box office on fire. Her fans are a disappointed lot but they are in store for some big treat from her soon. Charmy’s two films, Kavya’s Diary and Manorama are all set for release shortly. Manorama, in which Charmy plays the title role is a rocking hot film and is likely to thrill all her fans immensely.

Billa is ready

Prabhas’s Billa is going to be the first film to hit the screens this summer. The film has been completes its shoot except the two songs. And the remaining two songs will be shot very shortly. Produced on Gopikrishna Movies banner by Narendra and Prabodh, the movie is directed by Meher Ramesh.

Says Meher: “We have finished the entire shooting part and hope to release the movie by this month end. Prabhas will look so dashing and handsome than ever. He has developed eight-pack body for this movie.” He also said that major part of the movie is shot in never seen before locations of Malaysia. “The movie will look like a bond movie. Entire movie is shot with Super 35 mm camera and very lavishly,” he said.

Prabhas acts with rebel star Krishnam Raju for the first time in this film. Krishnam Raju plays the role of a police officer while Prabhas dons the role of a don. Anushka is the main heroine and she is going to appear in a two-piece bikini which is said to be the most sizzling moment in the film. Namitha also appears in a very sexy role while Hansika does the item song that was originally done by Kareena Kapoor in Don.

NTR To Speak Malayalam

If insider news is to be believed then NTR is trying to capture the Malayalam land also, he will enter Kerala through Adurs if the movie turns out well in Andhra, it is believed that there are many distributors in Kerala who are interested in releasing a dubbed version of the film and V V Vinayak , the director of the film is also interested in taking Adurs to this relatively unexplored territory.

No wonder both the heroines who have been selected for Adurs, Sheela and Nayantara hail from Kerala. It is believed that both heroines have a good fan following there and they could help in a big way to draw audiences to the theaters.

If the film indeed releases in Kerala then NTR would be successful in expanding his horizons. (more...)

2 heroines for Naga Chaitanya

It has always been publicized that Kartika (Radha’s daughter) is the heroine for Naga Chaitanya’s debut film, but now insider news is that a second heroine is also a part of the film and Sneha Ullal is being actively considered for the role. One does not know if this decision for a second heroine was always part of the story or that it was introduced perceiving some need to project the hero, but surely it seems to have been taken keeping box office expectations.
