JD Chakravarthy, who played the villain role in Nagarjuna’s trendsetter film ‘Shiva’ in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma is once again acting as a villain in Naga Chaitanya’s debut film ‘Josh’.
Karthika, daughter of yesteryear’s heroine Radha is the heroine in this flick. It is also known that producer Dil Raju is planning to rope in Nagarjuna and Radha for cameo roles in order to spice up the movie.
Hot sensation Anushka is doing an item song with Naga Chaitanya in this flick. Bollywood music director Sandeep Chowtha is scoring the music for this film. Dil Raju is producing the film on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
Vasu Varma is directing the film. Most of the film shooting will be done in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. The movie will be released in June, 2009. (more...)

Ravi Teja is now acting in the film titled Kick. Ileana is the heroine. The film is directed by Surender Reddy. The film is an out and out action entertainer in the typical Ravi Teja style.
A big action scene was being filmed the other day in which hero Ravi Teja and Tamil actor Shyam were taking part. A glass window was smashed as part of the scene and the splinters flew in all direction. Some of the splinters hit Ravi Teja and Shyam. While Ravi Teja escaped with minor injuries, Shyam was not so lucky. He is now undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Ravi Teja reported for work the next day after undergoing treatment. Answering to a media question about why the Dr. Rajashekar couple keep quite before, and why they are now chasing behind Chiranjeevi , Ms.Jeevitha replied that, ‘We are forced to keep quite because Chiaranjeevi’s influence on the film industry. He is a dominant figure in the film industry. He and his family members are holding the strings of the Tollywood industry, in their hands.
There, no one can go against their will, and no one in the industry dares to speak against them, fearing to loose their position in the film industry. We are also one among those many people who are silently suffering from the dominant influence of the Mega brothers and their relatives. Virtually they are ruling the film industry.
But, now this is not Tollywood to bear with him and his relatives any more. We have our own voice here, and can express our feelings and opinions about them freely.

Happy Birthday Allu Arjun
Allu Arjun, the rising star of Telugu movie industry, celebrates his birthday on April 8th. The actor has always ushered in his birthday with fun and frolic at pubs, where he usually throws a party for his friends.
This time, however, he plans to celebrate his birthday differently - by making his entry into politics. Allu Arjun will be canvassing for his father Allu Aravind, who is contesting the elections, in Anakapalli. Later he will also tour in the Palakollu assembly constituency where Chiranjeevi is also contesting.

Chiranjeevi has assets worth 88 crore
Telugu megastar and Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi, who filed his nomination papers on Saturday for the Tirupati assembly seat in Andra Pradesh, has declared assets worth over Rs. 88 crore in his and his wife Surekha's name. The couple has beaten Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's son Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his wife, who declared assets of Rs. 77 crore.
As per the affidavit Chiranjeevi submitted to the election authorities along with his nomination, the 53-year-old actor-politician had fixed assets worth Rs. 30,32,74,250 and liquid assets worth Rs. 3,50,05,579 in his name. His wife Surekha, daughter of noted Telugu comedian late Allu Ramalingaiah, has fixed assets worth Rs. 48,05,25,600 and liquid assets worth Rs. 6,16,83,210.
Chiranjeevi has Rs. 6,24,521 in cash, deposits worth Rs. 21,20,979, bonds and shares worth Rs. 1,12,95,000, gold and diamond jewellery worth Rs. 1,95,73,561 and other liquid assets worth Rs. 5,64,368.
He owns a Honda CRV SUV valued at Rs. 8,27,150. His residential building on a sprawling 3,333 sq yd site at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad is worth Rs. 14.36 crore and the 4092 sq yd site on Mount Road in Chennai is valued at Rs. 2,04,60,000. Jr NTR On Fast Recovery
Good news awaits all JrNTR fans, he is on the fast path to recovery and is likely to get back to action soon. This news was confirmed when some heads of the film industry like K S Rama Rao visited the young star at KIMS where he is recovering.
It is believed that NTR is responding to treatment fast and this has quickened his recovery period. Insider news is that NTR has a constant queue of visitors everyday most of whom happen to be close family friends.

The charming actress Simran visited Hyderabad recently as the brand ambassador of Frito-Lay India. She was here to launch new line of flavours of Kurkure. she added that currently she is not into films and will soon re-enter the big screen.
Simran who made a come back with ‘Okka Magadu’ in to Telugu had shied away from big screen after ‘Jhon AppaRao 40 Plus’. Now in her recent visit she announced her return to silver screen.

Billa Gets Average Talk
Prabhas has proved once and for all his true star potential. The film Billa is is jus ok and going by initial response for the film it will turn out to be an average grosser. All the initial laurels are going to Prabhas who has essayed dual roles in the film. Special mention should be made about the role of Ranga which Prabhas has played. He has infused great comic elements into this role and has proved that he has good timing.
Namitha and Anushka are adequate and have given good performances. The styling of the film is great and needs special mention. But Meher Ramesh has done an average job. Despite drawbacks in Music and dialogues the film is being appreciated as there are no other films to compete with it in thsi season. The film is a welcome relief in these times of political heat! Namitha is all excited for the tremendous response that is coming for Billa. She hails it as her comeback film and says that the people of Andhra have again accepted her. She says that she would be ever grateful to Krishnam Raju for having given her the opportunity.
