Allu Arjnu waiting for Magadheera

Allu Arjun and Ram Charn are cousins but they are closer as best friends. They both share common interest and also stand by each other in thick and thin. Allu Arjun is eagerly waiting for the Ram Charan starrer Magadheera to be released.

Magadheera is Ram Charan’s second film and it has been made with a whopping budget of 35 crore. Allu Arjun is sure that the film will go on to become a big hit and also break several records.

Allu Arjun’s own film, a sequel to Arya is now in brisk progress. Magadheera is produced by Allu Aravind and directed by SS Rajamouli. The audio is being released on June 28 and the film will hit the screens in July. (more...)

Mohan Babu, Chiru face to face

Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu have been at loggerheads for a long time. The two were best friends at one time but parted ways over serious differences. The two rarely meet and whenever they meet it becomes big news.

Mohan Babu met Chiru last year when he went to his house to offer his condolences for the death of his father. That was a purely courtesy call. Mohan Babu did not meet Chiranjeevi after the elections.

Meena’s wedding bells

It is heard that beautiful actress Meena was not showing any interest in wedding until she finds a right life partner in her life. Finally, that has happened and the buzz going across film industry that Meena found a person of her choice.

Currently she is busy with a movie shooting ‘Vengamamba’ and the movie schedules are not going to alter her wedding. This movie would be a devotional one and as usual Meena would live in the title role.

Chirutha is closer to Chiru than mom

Hero Ram Charan, popularly referred to as Chirutha after the name of his debut film had always been a mama’s boy. As a child he was very close to his mother than his father Chiranjeevi. There is a valid reason for this. Chiranjeevi was away from home most of the time busy with his film assignments. As such, Ram Charan did not get a chance to spend too much time with his dad.

Ram Charan is now closer to his dad than his mother. He says that his father is more of a friend to him than a dad. Ram Charan confides in his father and shares everything with him.

10,000 people to attend TANA

The 17th biennial TANA celebrations will be held in Chicago from July 2 to 4. The organizers are making elaborate arrangements for the big event. About 10,000 people are expected to attend the event this time.

Keeping in mind the global slow down and recession, the organizers have reduced the entry fee this time. While continuing with the family people can TANA is now offering daily packages too. A person can attend TANA for one day by paying just 50 dollars. For a today pass, the entry fee would be 80 dollars. This is exclusive of food.

Kalavaramaye Madilo audio released

The audio of Kalavaramaye Madilo, starring Swati and Kamal Kamaraju in the lead roles, was released at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad.

The film is directed by Satish Kasetty and is produced by Mohan Vadlapatla on Mohan Media Creations banner. Music is by Vasudevan Sarath. Lyrics are penned by Vanamali.

Prominent producer Dil Raju released the audio CD and presented the first number to his colleague Mr. Shyam Prasad Reddy. Popular playback singer Chitra, who sang all the songs in the film solo, released the audio cassette, the first copy of which was received by director V. Samudra.

Dil Raju said: “Satish Kasetty narrated two scripts to me. I was impressed with one of it and it was supposed to have been produced by me with the title Kalavaramaye Madilo. But, I gave it to Satish and asked him to use the title on his request. I hope this film under his direction will become a blockbuster. I am happy that Swathi, whom I wanted to make a heroine, made her stand felt in the industry by her prowess. I wish good luck to all.”

Shyam Prasad Reddy said: “All through my career, I experimented with only small films, but only on one occasion that I swooped on a big venture and it taught me a big lesson. I listened to this script some months ago. I also listened to the tunes later. Chitra as playback singer for the songs is going to be a big asset to the film. I am in doubt to say that the film is going to be a big success and the audio too would be a chartbuster.”

Chitra said that she felt happy to get the audio film released coinciding with the World’s music day.

Music director Sarath Vasudevan said: “I hail from a family with rich music background. Both my grandma and mom are good singers. I am proud to be coming from the cannon of great musician Mangalampalli Balamurali Krishna. This is my debut in Tollywood and my sincere thanks to the filmmakers for this first opportunity.”

Regarding the story of the film, hero Kamal Kamaraju said that it was a highly emotional love story with great placement for music. Heroine Swathi said that there was no lead role in the story as everyone would be of equal importance in the film.

Director Satish and producer Mohan said that heroine Swathi was a big asset to their film and sought the patronage of the industry and the audience for the success of their venture. (more...)
