Most awaited flick, Magadheera, is creating new records even before its release. Producer Allu Aravind is planning to release it in 1200 screens across the globe. This is the biggest ever release for a Telugu film. It hits the screens on July 31st in 14 countries and all the major metros in South India.
Directed by S S Rajamouli, the film has many ‘first’s to its credit including – megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan Tej sharing screen space for the first time. Chiru appears briefly in the remix song of “Bangaru Kodipetta’. Ram Charan’s dance steps in the remix song have now become a rage among fans and the youth.

Namo Venkatesa in Europe
Victory Venkatesh and voluptuous beauty Trisha team's upcoming Namo Venkatesa, directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, will soon start rolling and will be extensively shot in Europe for 35 days. Launched on June 19 in Hyderabad, the movie is said to be a complete family entertainer.
Venkatesh plays the role of a ventriloquist in this flick. He recently took some professional training in ventriloquism to play the role with conviction.
Gopi Mohan is the man behind the story, script and dialogues. Director Sreenu Vaitla himself will wield the camera. Trisha is pairing up with Venkatesh for second time after the tremendous success of their Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule (2007). (more...)
Genelia as a choreographer
Genelia is another actress who had a successful run in the south as well as north. With lot of success behind her she made a successful debut in Bollywood with a super hit. According to sources, she is acting opposite handsome hunk Shahid Kapur in her next flick.
The movie has been tentatively titled “Yahoo”. Sources indicate that she was supposed to play the role of a choreographer. She was really scared since she had to match the steps of Shahid who is one of the best dancers in the industry.

Nagarjuna's 23 launched
Nagarjuna's upcoming film 23 (tentative title), directed by debutant director Kiran Kumar with noted Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh as heroine, was launched on July 24 at Annpurna Studios in a simple manner. Producer D. Siva Prasad Reddy, Nagarjuna, director Kiran Kumar, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and Dil Raju attended the pooja ceremony. Made under the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies (which earlier made successful Vikki Dada, Allari Alludu, Nenunnanu and King), this film will be shot in Guntur for three days. It is heard that apart from 23, D. Siva Prasad Reddy is planning another film with Nagarjuna under the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. Video clip puts NTR to embarassment!
A video clip that appeared on Youtube, and in a couple of Telugu news channels – showing young star NTR and his close friend Rajiv Kanakala boozing and merrying – created a flutter in the Tollywood circles and the Telugu Desam party.
The channels competed with each other all through the day on Sunday in telecasting the clipping repeatedly, implying that it was taken during the election campaign of NTR on March 26, when he met with a grievous road accident.
To mention here, NTR was admitted to the hospital and he abandoned the election campaign for the rest of pre-election period, giving a tough time for the TDP.
The projection claimed that NTR took liquor before he took to driving the vehicle. He was also shown in a frolic mood, singing and swaying.
It was believed that the show was shot on NTR’s cell phone. It surfaced into the public light when the instrument was given for repair recently. An aide of the actor snatched the data before giving it for repair; it was alleged by NTR’s supporters.
Anyways, the clip would suffice for the Congress and PR to impose at least temporary damage on the TD at a time when it is getting ready for the Greater Hyderabad elections. (more...)
Ash and Trisha warns the media!
It was Ash last week and Trisha this week. Both of them who fed up with the rumours about their personnel lives, warned the media people to refrain from creating rumours or else ready to face the consequences.
Last week there were rumours about the Bollywood beauty Ash, saying that she is not interested to become a mother right now, because she is much interested about her career than motherhood. That’s why she is postponing her pregnancy.
There are some other rumours about her makeup also. The rumour mills of the media spreads that Ash is avoiding the other make up professionals who were specially brought for her make up from Hollywood for veteran director Maniratnam’s film ‘Rawan,’ because she want to hide some skin problem from them. Ash was very angry with the rumours and warned the media that, if they proceed in their usual manner, she is obliged to take a legal action against those who writes rumours about her.
Tollywood beauty Trisha also condemns the rumours about her fight with cricketer Hemang Badani. She often attracts the media with her heavy drinking habit, and aftermath fights with her colleagues in the late night parties. This time also wide spread news brings out that, she heavily drank in a five star hotel in Chennai, and had a fight with cricketer Hemang Badani, which she not only denying, but also warned the media of taking legal action against them. Ram Charan learns ‘skydiving’ for next flick
Everyone knows Ram Charan Tej dances well and does fights superbly. With Magadheera he has also proved that he has lot more in his feathers. His ‘horse-riding’ skills in the film are marvelous. Few people know that he learnt horse riding at a very young age. When he was in teens, he has learnt this at a club in Chennai that came in handy for the film. Now, he is going to exhibit another skill - ski-diving in his next film to be directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
Says Ram Charan: “I am still learning it. I will perform these skills in my next film which will be shot in New York for most part.” (more...)
Trisha creates a hungama at a night club
Leading actress Trisha and cricketer Hemang Badani exchanged heated words and later got involved in an intense fight at a popular night club in Chennai.
According to sources, the trouble started when the cricketer, who was partying hard, ‘bumped’ into Trisha.
The actress, who was present with her friends at the venue, apparently was not in a mood to forgive the cricketer, who, for his part, claimed that he had brushed against her by accident.
Trisha reportedly called Badani a not-so-good cricketer and scolded him with some abusive words. An infuriated Badani returned the gesture with equally obscene and derogatory names. After this, their fight degenerated into a physical one, involving fights and blows.
Their friends then came to rescue them from the embarrassing situation and separated them from the venue.
Some police personnels also came to the venue and sent off both the celebrites safely to their homes after settling the issue amicably.
However, when contacted, Trisha’s mother denied of such an incident having taken place. Trisha also denied the incident later and said that it was a preplanned character assasination campaign against her by some 'vested forces' in the industry

'Anjaneyulu' getting ready
Crazy mass hero Ravi Teja’s next flick is getting ready to hit the screens soon. According to sources “Anjaneyulu” has completed shooting and has started its post production work.
One of the highly paid actresses Nayanthara is playing the female lead in this flick. The movie is directed by Parasuram who had earlier made the hit movie “Yuvatha”.
It is being produced by Ganesh Babu. Sources indicate that the movie will be a complete entertainer with a little bit of spirituality.
Ravi’s fans are eagerly awaiting the movie and Nayan from her end is pinning her hopes on this one since she has not been able to score a hit in the recent past. (more...)
