Maghadeera banned in Vijayanagaram!
“The screening of film Maghadeera is banned in the entire Vijayanagaram district.” Surprising? This is the order passed by none other than the uncrowned king of Vijayanagaram district Minster Botsa Satyanarayana. Keeping in view of the accidents happened at Lakshmi theatre in Saluru, where five people died of electrocution, Minister opined that to avoid such incidents further, ban on Maghadeera screening is inevitable. His decision came as a surprise to one and all, including his own party people.
The uncrowned king of Vijayanagaram further clarifying his decision, said that ‘Only Maghadeera film is witnessing huge rush at theatres. All other films released in the recent times are not so crowded like this film, hence there is no necessary to impose ban on the other films, except this one.’
He didn’t clarify whether if he like to ban all the other films, if they are also attract the large crowds? If, the same thing happens with film ‘Anjaneyulu’ which is releasing tomorrow, shall he ban that film also? What about the hundreds of other theatres in the state which are screening the same film with the same conditions? Shall he order the closure of all theatres? Is he the right person to declare a ban on the theatres? There is no logic in his decision except politically motivated idea.
Instead of such hasty decisions, first he should demand an explanation from the concerned Officers who ignored the safety in the theatres. Instead of imposing a ban on the theatres, he should suspend the concerned officers who failed to regularly monitor the safety conditions of the theatres. But, the uncrowned king of the district thinks otherwise. Because the hero and producer of the film, Ram Charan Tej and Allu Aravind both are belong to his rival party Praja Rajyam. Isn’t enough to impose a ban on the film? (more...)
