'Namo Venkatesa' releasing for Sankranthi

Victory Venkatesh's Namo Venkatesa is releasing for the Sankrathi. It has come as a good news for eager Venkatesh fans who are disappointed that their favourite actor's films haven't registered a strong box office success in recent years. Though his 'Tulasi' was a decent grosser, his 'Chintakayala Ravi' almost bombed.

They have been eagerly awaiting Venkatesh's film with Sreenu Vaitla. The makers have announced that three-fourths of the film's shooting is almost complete and that they are planning to release it on the eve of Pongal. You have Sreenu Vaitla, whose last hotch potch King was a BO hit, directing it and rest assured.

With music by Devi Sri Prasad, the film's market will only have enhanced. Iceland is the place the director has elected to shoot two visually-wowee songs.

Produced by D Suresh Babu, Namo... has 14 Reels Entertainment joining as co-producers.

Arya 2 release on 25th

Young and dynamic hero Allu Arjun's forthcoming film ‘Arya-2’ is planned to release on 25th of November. Successful director Sukumar who also directed the super hit film ‘Arya’ is directing this film. Latest sensation of the industry Kajal Agarwal is playing the female lead against Allu Arjun Navadeep and Shradda Das are playing secondary roles in this film. Non bailable warrant for Balakrishna

Dharvaram Court issued a non bailable arrest warrant to Nandamuri Balakrishna Police has filed a case against him for violating election code of conduct during the last general elections. The court has ordered him to attend personally to defend himself. But, he seems to be ignored the court order, for which the court ordered for his arrest. Yet, the police informed the court that they were unable to arrest him because he is not available at his address. Finally, the court issued a non bailable arrest warrant to him. So far, there is no response from his end. Most probably, he may surrender himself in a day or two. (more...)

Recently, he was separated from his wife. A family court in Chennai dissolved his marriage with his wife Lalitha kumari.

The couple mutually agreed for a divorce and officially separated by the court orders. The couple settled the financial matters out of court, before approaching the court for a divorce. It is learn that Prakashraj has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.2 lakhs per month towards maintenance of his wife and his two daughters. Chiru miracle escape!

PRP president Chiranjeevi narrowly escaped from a fatal accident today (Tuesday Evening). While campaigning for his party candidates who are contesting in GHMC Elections, he reached to Safilguda area in the evening today. During his road show at Gautam Nagar of Malkajgiri constituency, his vehicle came into direct contact with live electric wires and his vehicle caught fire. Chiranjeevi who was on the vehicle was rescued by his party workers, and the people around there extinguished the fire. Later, Chiranjeevi continued with his Road shows. (more...)

Ram opposite Ileana again

After their onscreen romance in Y.V.S. Chowdary's successful romantic thriller Devadas (2006), popular Tollywood gems Ram and Ileana are joining once again in a new film tentatively titled Tom and Jerry to be directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore.

Vakkantam Vamsi, who wrote the super hit Kick, is the man behind the story. According to sources, Ileana is very excited about this project as she has already given a hit in form of Kick which was also directed by Surender Reddy. The film will go to floors soon and is expected to grace screens in January, 2010. More details are awaited. (more...)

Naga Chaitanya's new film titled 'Natho Raa...'?

The 'Josh' star, who is currently doing a film with Gautham Menon as the director, is paired opposite Tanya. The film is titled Natho Raa... . Though the film was launched even before the release of Nag's debut film Josh, the title has not been confirmed. The makers have finalised on a title and released it to the media.

The film has music by maestro AR Rehman and this will be its unique selling proposition in the initial stages. Not to sneak out a single detail about the film, the makers turn reluctant to discuss about the subject. However, it is clear that the young actor is playing a powerful role and it will see loads of action from his part.

Krishnudu, the 'Villagelo Vinayakudu' actor, is playing the role of hero's friend in the movie.

2012 creates ‘havoc’ at A.P Box-office

A Hollywood film opening like a big Telugu star movie doing is never seen before. Roland Emerich’s 2012 set the new record as per as openings for a Hollywood film in Andhra Pradesh. The film (both the English version and Telugu version) is running to packed houses. Even on weekdays like Monday and Tuesday, collections for this film are strong. In Hyderabad alone, the movie’s Telugu version is running in 11 theatres and English version in another 8 screens and Hindi version in another 8 screens. Altogether the collections for this film in Hyderabad would be on par with a big Telugu or Hindi movie. (more...)

CACA releasing in December

Chocolate hero Tarun-Vimala Raman's next film titled Chukkalanti Ammayi, Chakkanaina Abbai, being directed by Kanmani and produced by Supreme Raju Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas, will grace screens in December.

Set in the backdrop of the software industry, the film has music composed by Anoop Ruben. Tarun plays an ideal guy, while Vimala Raman plays a star like girl. If reports are to be believed, Vimala Raman will appear in a two piece bikini in this flick.

Touted to be a romantic drama, the film was picturised in foreign locations, including Bangkok and Malaysia. Others in the cast are Brahmanandam, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam and Vijay Sai. (more...)

Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra honeymoon

Now that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra are set to tie the knot later this month, the groom-to-be has planned a lavish honeymoon for his beautiful bride.

Though things are being kept under wraps, it’s learnt that the couple will fly to the Paradise Islands in the Bahamas for their honeymoon. Raj has reportedly booked a Regal Suite at the Atlantis resort there. The resort has the world’s largest marine habitat.

Apparently, Shilpa knows about the honeymoon destination but she doesn’t know Raj’s elaborate plans to make it a memorable experience for her.

Having known Shilpa for over two years, Raj knows very well Shilpa’s likes and dislikes in traveling, food and clothes.

The couple will tie the knot on November 22 in Khandala. Later, they will throw a reception party on Nov 24 for the folks in Bollywood. Then they would fly down south to Chennai to seek the blessings of their gurus at Oneness Temple. Finally, after that, they will leave for their honeymoon to the Bahamas. (more...)

Nandamuri clan's passionate acting talent, NTR Jr has a wish. It is to act with yesteryear beauty queen Sridevi. In a television interview, he has made this confession much to the surprise of everyone. Though he made this desire of his known to everyone even many years ago (when 'Allari Ramudu' released), he has made it vociferously this time. Once he had said that if Sridevi gave a nod to do a film with him, he would halt every other project in hand to act with the actress.

In the recent interview, he has candidly put that Sridevi is a nonpareil and that her image is transfixed in his mind. The bachelor actor, known more for his fiery outbursts in political campaigns than for talking about girls, has clearly shown his romantic side. That he has a long-time crush for Mrs. Sridevi Bony Kapoor is clear.

Pawan Kalyan fans angry with their hero?

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much prolonged film Komaram Puli’s release which is expected to release in January next year, seems to be postponed further for one more month to February. This is quite disappointment news for Pawan fans who eagerly waiting for his film. They couldn’t have a glimpse of him since last general elections.

Although, Chiranjeevi and the senior members of the party are demanding for his presence he is said to be refusing to participate in the road shows. His absence in party activities and the delay taking place in the release of his film irritate his fans very much.
