Tabu paired up with Mohan Babu?

After delivering two consecutive hits in the form of Bunny and Dhee, producer Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy is gearing up for his third production for Siri Venkateswara Films banner.

Venkat Mallidi, son of Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy who already debuted with Premaleka Rasa, will play a lead in this film.

Interesting info about this film is that Mohan Babu is playing a key and lead role in this film. This film will go to sets on Vijayadasami. Sources say that Tabu is roped in to play the heroine for Mohan Babu in this film. Prasad is the director.

Tabu doing comic role in a new film

Director Chandra Siddardha has the penchant for making meaningful films like ‘Aa Naluguru’. He has now begun working on his new film starring the talented actress Tabu and Abbas in lead role.

Raja will be seen in a special appearance. The film was launched on September 12, 2007 at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad. The event ceremony was presided over by Ramanaidu as chief guest. Tabu and Abbas also attended the event.

The film will have Tabu in a comical role. The story revolves around her and she will be seen as an independent woman. Tabu is associated with doing serious cinema and for a change she is doing this role. She is excited about the film.

Chandra Siddardha said, "This is most unique and quirky film. Senior journalist and writer K N Y Patanjali is penning the story and dialogues. Freshness in the story helps commercially," said

Writer Patanjali said that the film is based on his novel, ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’. "It appeared as a serial in Andhra Prabha and ran into legal problems for 10 years. Someone filed case against it citing the novel demeaned judicial system. But the court recently dismissed the case," he said.

Tabu stages comeback to Tollywood

Much to the delight of her adoring fans, the talented actress Tabu is staging a comeback in the Telugu tinsel town after a pretty long gap. She will play the pivotal role in a Telugu film which is yet to be titled, by the director Chandra Siddharth.

The movie draws its theme from a Pathanjali novel Nuvve Kaadu which is a story based on the backdrop of the present socio-political scenario. Her co-stars will be the actors Raja and Prabhas.

It seems that Tabu's second Tollywood innings is certainly not going to begin with a mere whimper!
